We do a podcast that occasionally has video editions, and Filmora is my go-to. It's one of my favorite parts of the software. I can compile a video from many disparate folders and file formats and I don't have to worry about building a media library to store my components. Filmora lets you drag media from anywhere. The thing I like most about it, though? No media library! So many editors, like iMovie, require your videos be stored in a "media library" from which to choose them from. ![]() It imports a ridiculous amount of file formats (I haven't found one it can't handle yet), editing is quick, there's a plethora of free, downloadable transitions and elements, and file export times are fast even on my elderly mid-2012 MacBook Pro. Editing is linear and layering video, images, and audio just works flawlessly. I'd tried all the big ones, even FC, but none of them worked the way I wanted them to. I'd been looking forever for a video editor that works the way that my brain expects a video editor to work. Support at Wondershare was awesome, and they honored my previous license when it became Wondershare Filmora. I purchased this software long ago, when it was still iSkySoft Video Editor.
